How does anyone teach pronouns to a kid?

Kid: “Me?” Pointing at me.

Dad: “No, you mean you” Pointing at me.

Kid: “Me?” Pointing at him.

Dad: “Yes, that’s you! I mean, ‘me’. But not me, I mean you me, not me me, who is you. Er…. forget it. Ask your mother.”
